She dances to her own music,
Reading from a book of dreams
Her soul is writing about her.
She doesn’t need the World’s approvals,
She’s got her poetry within.
“Talk dir-TEA to me”
“My BALLS are delicious”
I will remember the kisses
Our lips raw with love.
You gave me everything you had
And took what once was only mine
When you feel blue and your soul is sad,
Remember me and all the fun we had,
Joy of our love will stay forever,
Deep in our hearts,
Forget me never!
[I'm trying to hold my breath
Let it stay this way
Can't let this moment end
You set off a dream in me
Getting louder now
Can you hear it echoing?
Take my hand
Will you share this with me?]
[Every human being is a puzzle of need. You must become the missing piece and they will tell you anything] - Red Sparrow
This stylish classic is inspired by the hottest Netflix TV show that I’ve been binge watching. The Queen's Gambit follows the life of an orphan chess prodigy, Beth Harmon, during her quest to become the world's greatest chess player while struggling with emotional problems and drug and alcohol dependency. I must say I am totally addicted! Anyone else? ...
If you haven’t seen the show you are definitely missing out! Download the first episode and you’ll be hooked...but first make yourself a Gibson. This elegant cocktail appears in the movie quite regularly and is basically a sophisticated cousin of a Martini garnished with pickled onions instead of olives. The onion offers a unique umami flavor profile. I added my own twist to it by infusing my dry vermouth with bay leaf that creates a marvelous interplay with gin’s earthy juniper notes. Touch of blue since that’s how I feel that the show is over 😢
